Editor's review
This software makes the familiar menu set up of Office 2003 available to the newer versions of the Office, 2010.
When you change over to the 2010 version of the MS Office products the difference with the earlier tool bars and menu system enormous. The new ribbon menu presents two kinds of difficulties. One is you have to hunt for the commands you were used to. Second difficulty is about finding out the newer functions offered with this 2010 version. This tool saves you the trouble and is free for personal use. This software utility brings back the familiar Office 2003 and 2007 toolbars and menus into the ribbon interface of Microsoft Office 2010. The products that can be supported include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. The company provides other products that take care of the additional products available with the Office suite such Outlook, Access, InfoPath, Publisher, Visio, Project, etc.
The tool does not take away any new functionality that came with the 2010 version. They are all supported in the classic menu fashion. It thus reduces the problem to finding out these new functionalities only, rather than trying to find everything on the new ribbon interface. All the languages such as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Dutch, Chinese, etc. are also supported by this tool. You could actually use this tool to ease your transition to the new interface when you feel confident. The classic menu can be turned off any time you want to. This is a good product that can ease the transition without the need for training people.
